Chris Carr, Esq.![]() Prior to law school, Chris worked as a journalist in Pennsylvania. Chris later attended law school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, from where he graduated in 2002. He was an active member of the Student Bar Association. After graduation, Chris moved to Chicago where his family resided. He was licensed in Illinois in 2002. In 2004 Chris moved to Nevada; he was licensed in Nevada in 2005. Since his admission to the Nevada Bar, Chris has practiced primarily in the area of family law with some work in criminal defense and probate and estate planning. Chris has handled all types of family law matters including divorce, annulments, legal separation, child custody matters, termination of parental rights, relocation cases, grandparents visitation and custody rights, abuse/neglect matters, and adoptions. Chris has handled cases at all phases from the initial court filings through trials. In 2008 Chris was chosen by the Eighth Judicial District Court, Family Division to serve as a Pro Tem Hearing Master in the court's child support division. Chris presided over hundreds of hearings and two trials during his time on the child support bench. Chris has been married since 2003 and has two children. |
